If you can't find it locally... gunbroker.com
Good site to price check at, then add the FFL fee you'll have to pay to get the gun in your hands.
I like to find a local gun shop, there is one in the town I went to college in and that's the store I use... If I want a gun I pick it up there when I go visit.

My father and I collect higher end shotguns and rifles and usually use a shop called Ivory Beads. They mainly deal with collecter pieces, but have a few rifles. There is also all the Cabelas Gun Library. Then there is Gunbroker as aforementioned, as well as Guns America

Depends on what type of guns you're looking to buy. I've used gunbroker for both my pistol and 7mm.
Some good sites are:
http://www.longrangehunting.com/forums/index.php (more towards 300, 308, 7mm and larger calibers)
http://www.predatormastersforums.com...ubbthreads.php (usually more like 223, 22-250, 243)
http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/index.php (more for .22 lr)
http://www.ar15.com/forums/board.html?b=7 (all, to include AR, AK, rifles and shotguns)
http://www.varminthunters.com/cgi-bi...lassifieds.cgi (pretty much any)

There is also http://auctionarms.com
But honestly, if you are looking for a new gun you may as well buy it locally. I searched many online sites for my conceal carry gun. By the time you add in the shipping, FFL transfer fee and sales tax. It's either about the same or more than I could have went to the local guy and bought it. I'd rather support the local guy. Plus if I had any issues with the gun he's right down the road rather than me having to ship it somewhere

Thats MR Hoss to you buddy!
This is my first time to use them, but I purchased a Colt carbine from Clyde Armory just this morning. They came highly recommended.
