Just got back from Puerto Vallarta Mexico last evening. Spent a week at the Mayan Palace in the Marina. This wasnt my first time in Puerto Vallarta, but I still have a blast everytime! Excellent food, cheap beer, and treated like royalty all week.. I was wondering if anyone else here has visited there for vacation or business? Any favorite places to visit while your down there?

 

Any drug problems or violence down there? How safe would it be for a family vacation?

I went a long time ago for Spring Break. Don't remember much but they say I had fun!!!!!!

 

Was there last year for our annual family vacation.. There were about 30 of us and I think we over ran the island.. Had a great time!! Felt very safe at all times

 

The wife and I were opposite on the map of where you were. We were in Playa Del Carmen south of Cancun, it was amazing there. We both wanna go back to mexico again. We stayed at an all-inclusive resort btw, which is the way to go.

 

I was able to buy a week for cheap from some family members as they own a time share down there...
I felt very safe, as did everyone else in the group even at night in down town. I would highly reccomend it, it was my 7th time down there, and cant get enough... Never had any problems..
