Grail sighting

Saw a beautiful 98.5 quad longbed with a 12v today. It was that Dodger blue metallic with matching canopy running boards and flaps pretty much bone stock and purring like a kitten. Beautiful truck!

Just thought I'd sing out

Now if it where a 94-95, I'd be buying a plane ticket.

I finally found a grail truck a couple of years ago- 2wd short bed like I was looking. Older couple used it for hauling camper then traded it in on newer truck, young couple bought it then moved overseas to teach so I bought it. Not stock, has K&N filter, Timbrens, rail system, definitely not a stock transmission, and wastegate deleted. It is the wife's truck so mainly a grocery-getter, tagalong trailer hauler as it has a bed cover and carpetted bed. Love the 12V and the extra cab space. Can even fit my not-so-little brother in the back seat. Will run it until I can no longer find parts to fix it with.

I tried to talk a guy out of one across town a few years back, same as mine but a 12 valve, 98.5 quad 4x4 longbed. He knew what he had and wouldn't budge... He and the truck are long gone now, they dozed the house and its all apartments where he used to live....
