Got a new toy!

Picked up a 06 Rubicon with 35k on the odo. I got it to replace my 98 Ford Ranger 4x4 with 200K on it.

It is. When I looked underneath I couldn't find any dents or scrapes. It shows no signs of off roading. The only scratch is on the back part of the hard top. When the tire carrier swings out it hits the top.

That is really nice. My favorite model with a 4 to 1 transfer case and Dana 44s! Cool.

Is it a 6 spd??? Got a friend with a silver one identical to that, 6 spd with 35's Wrangler MT/r and a 6" SkyJacker lift that i helped him put on. That thing is sweet.

My favorite color is Blue so seeing yours still makes it nicer than his. Put a lift, some rims and tires and i think it'll blow me away.

I'm jealous.

I want a Rubicon so badly, but I have a family of 5. Why can't someone make a rear 3 seat bench...I know it's small and tight back there, but small children should fit okay.

Very nice lookin, and one of the last years for the Jeep that actually resembles a jeep, with 2 doors, and not a short Grand Cherokee. Makes me miss my 94 YJ

I love those. What engine do they have now? I had a CJ-7. It had a V-8, a 304 I think.

It has a 4.0L 202hp and 235lb. ft. They do make a Wrangler that fits 5. My wife has a 2008 unlimited Sahara and I got an 06 Rubi. I just got back from Moab last week. Your going to love that Jeep! Put it in 4low and watch her crawl!

Thanks guys. Its the last year of the 4.0L and TJ. I wanted an 05-06 rubi for the 6spd. I didn't want the newer V6.

Here is a pic of me at McCain Valley on a little rock. The 4:1 is awesome! I didn't even have to use my brakes going down. And the lockers are a nice addition!
