gonna sell the house and buy an rv

got home to the mail yesterday. mortgate payment in there. so I opened it up and my payment went up $25 a month! I was like W T HECK (BofA). Called them and they said its because my insurance went up AND property taxes as of July 1st effective AUG 1. . govt sucks!

edit- I am seriously thinking about buying a rv or 38' car hauler with living quarters. I am moving in 3 years anyways. in 3 years I could have it paid off (if I put what I am paying for my house now onto the note) and have a nice "2nd home" after I move and buy a place in Idaho. tax write off, movable, put my toys inside it. go campin, go to the race track, harley. the possibilities are endless when you drag your home behind yur truk

Check out millennium trailers. A salesman by the name of Chris quoted me 33k for a 36' Gn with a 17' garage and living quarters. I'm close to pulling the trigger!!!

Hey man, I checked out that trailer a couple of months ago and take my advice....run. Some panels are separating by the entry door and it had some damage to the left of the door, looks like it took a pretty good lick from something. Also, when I talked to the guy he said that a hail storm took out the skylight in the bedroom and it had water on the bed. He might have fixed everything but I'd be careful. Oh yeah, he told me that the trailer was wrapped when it was new so the paint should be good but I didn't have a good feeling about it.

So many ways I could run with this one but I will just leave it alone.

You won't need much space for your KOMODO MOBILE so get a radio flyer wagon and pull doubles behind a regular 5th wheel.

Ohhhh Boy Play time.

There's 36 states that allow doubles in that class. You have to check that out

Or, just get a real long trailer and put a small trailer on it.

So.... your mortgage payment goes up because the local taxes and home insurance (paid out of the escrow account) went up and your ticked off at the mortgage company?
Sounds like misdirected anger.

I don't know what your experience with RVs is but remember that in most economies, a house is an appreciating asset while an RV is always a depreciating one. Might also want to check out what your insurance and lot fees will be on the rigs that you are looking at. I suspect that some RV parks might frown on a car-hauler as a full-time park resident not to mention the additional restrictions that you may face with your "toys" while living on rented property as opposed to in a driveway that you "own".

Not saying that it's a bad idea but I know from experience that RVs take LOTS of maintenance and care and that living in an RV park can be restricting on ones hobbies. Think it all through and ask lots of questions before you make the jump.

My mortgage went up $150 due to increased taxes AND a big shortfall in my escrow account. I wish I could just up and get a trailer and take off. It's not in the cards for me though so I'll just keep on paying.....
