Now he's willing to to sign the Hallaburton deal? JK.

I'm sure the press has nothing better to complain about then the fact they didn't do a release for 24 hours. Big deal. It's not a nat'l security or even business issue. It's not like they wouldn't know eventually. The guy was probably a little too racked with guilt and worried about his friend, then to worry about some reporter getting his performance bonus.

Hey, the man shot a lawyer, for Pete's sake. Now, the problem with that is?????

I will admit that the Vice President made two mistakes:

1. Hunting lawyers requires a 12 gauge shotgun.

2. 00 buck is generally preferred to a light dove load.

That's pretty conservative for texas isn't it? We're a blue state but There's still a 5 bag limit with a small game except during deer season, and year round with fur-harvester, no limit. Farmers want to start a bounty again, the the tree-huggers won't have it.

The ONLY reason this is news at all is because of who it is. This sort of thing happens all the time (unfortunately).

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about either. He shot at a lawer and didn't miss. It should have been news only if he missed!

Not stamps required. Can hunt them year round just like hogs.

Don't know about the rest of you, but I am so sick of reading about this in the media. The media feeding frenzy is unbelievable. Then the media wonder why they are losing readers!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't Natalie Holloway still missing?

It's one thing after another with the media. If they think they can get people to watch by exploiting someone, they will!

I know most of us have commented on how easy it is to catch shot, but what happened to "know your target and whats beyond"?
It's like rule #4 in Hunters Safety.

Not to tick people off, but maybe they should limit hunters of a certian age/heath. Cheney's health is so bad he has to have an Ambulance on call 24/7, thats how they got a quick response when he blasted his buddy.

It's like driving, after a certian age, maybe you should have to pass vision/hearing tests to still be allowed to gun?

I'm just a little upset that all they are getting is a warning for not have the proper lisence. If it was me they would be confiscating my Gun and vehicle.

Just goes to show, with enough money and fame you can get away with anything.
