Just picked up a Corsair 2GB flash drive for personal use and for work.

Is this a decent one?

Not fimiliar with the particular brand, but WoW, 2GB is cool! The 1's are getting to be the "norm" now. My wife has a 512,
I guess thats "like so last year"!

It's a small portable memory storage device, it's all the rage among the late 40's crowd (just kidding). It's a good way to take data home with you by just sticking this tiny "stick" into a USB port and copying files. This way you can work from two different computers and carry data in your pocket or on a keychain back and forth with you. I have the el cheapo one, they are a lot easier than carrying around CD's with you.

Now I feel so behind the times... We have a 128meg... But it rarely has more than a few pics, or other misclaneous small files on it. I think the fullest it has ever been was the time I put an album on it because I couldn't find the CD, and my dad wanted to hear it...

Corsair is a pretty good brand. They make premium heat sinked memory for overclockers. My flash drive is a sandisk. I couldn't live without it. I also have an mp3 player with SD cards that I can plug into my usb port if I need to move a file and I don't have my flash drive.

I think you chose well, corsair is one of the better ones to have, and that model is pretty fast too.

So whatcha gonna put on that 2gb? A word doc? Excel file? Couple pics?

2GB Is ALOT of data.

One tip, dont KEEP files on it. Transfer from computer to computer, but dont rely on it to store your data.

They do die often and are very sensitive to static.
