Today during a church service I was listening to this wonderful old hymn and started to think about what it really means. My heart started to break about what is happening to the once proud and great country of America, so decided to write down a few of my thoughts. Perhaps this belongs in the political section, but I am placing it here to gain the most readers. Please don’t turn this into a political or religious debate, but stop and think, then act on the message. There is so much more that I can add, but have to attempt to cut it short.

Unfortunately due to your self serving and badly misguided politicians, America is soon going to become insignificant as a world player. There are actually many reasons for this, but will not attempt to look at them here. Look at the words of the Hymn. “Land that I love, stand beside her and guide her”. Really? Is that what your so-called leaders are doing today? The intent of the hymn appears to be misunderstood by your leaders. America is going through probably some of it’s darkest times ever right now, but where are the leaders to guide it through this night? Where I sit, all I see is that your leaders are leading America into a deeper and deeper night and unsolvable problems. America is being led away from the vision of your founding fathers.

You have just finished with Memorial Day. Most of you younger generation will not remember D-Day. America is free because of the sacrifices of the forces that pushed through on D-Day. On the actual day of the invasion there were about 10,000 casualties. These people bled and died so that you and I can be free. It appears that these freedoms are being over ridden by the self serving politicians and the sheeple are allowing this to happen. Did these people die in vain?

The American government has failed to serve it’s people. Congress has failed you big time and is still failing you. Throw the bums out! It seems like that the people that are supposed to be serving you have forgotten that they are public servants and are not royalty. You, the sheeple are allowing this to happen and consequently cannot whine when you lose even more freedoms. Your money does not belong to the congress, it belongs to you. Enough of being led to the socialistic nightmare that your usurper so-called president is leading you to. WAKE UP AMERICA AND SPEAK UP! Stand up for your freedoms before you lose all of them. It is D-Day again, so stand up and speak up for your freedoms like you have never done in your life. Don’t wait for the next guy or your wimpy politicians to do it for you. Your so-called leaders are forcing all of you to soon become economic slaves.

You, the sheeple, have allowed the ten commandments to be thrown out of the schools and courthouses and replaced them with Harry Potter 101. You have allowed and encouraged organizations such as CAIR, the ACLU and similar organizations to rule and the result is that your kids are now shooting other kids in schools. I will not even talk about the harm that the homosexual agenda has done and is continuing to do.

George Washington had many a great saying. One of the things he said was: “It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible”. It is only in recent years that the atheists, Muslims and similar have managed to divert this and now look at the resultant mess America has become. Atheists, you are NOT welcome in America. If you don’t like it, leave. There is a plane every hour, on the hour. There are many more quotes from Washington that I can apply here, but will run out of space. Please take the time to look them up, think about them and apply them again to America. They are still as valid today as when he spoke them, but your leaders today are trying to tell you otherwise.

Did you know that once God was taken out of America that it has become a nation of murderers. The so-called pro-choice movement has allowed 40,000,000 unborn children to be murdered. Shame on you for allowing this to happen in America. Mother Teresa said; “ Any nation that accepts abortion is not teaching it’s people to love, but to use violence to get what they want. That is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion”. With 40,000,000 unborn babies murdered by America, why do you have the audacity to wonder why there are so many problems in America. WAKE UP AMERICA. You have murdered 40,000,000 million kids and counting.

America was founded on one God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. This God of your forefathers is still here, but being the gentleman He is, is stepping aside as so many of your misguided leaders and organizations have ordered and is now allowing the demise of America. WAKE UP AMERICA and take your country back from the brink of hell. Your freedoms are rapidly being eroded by Obama and his gang, the ACLU, CAIR, atheists, the homosexuals, Muslims and many more, yes, even PETA. It may already be too late, but for the love of America, remember:

Your not the only one with those thoughts my friend..My self coming from Canada and both my parents coming from Germany to Canada then this great US of A It is a crying shame what is going on !and were we are headed.

I hear ya. Its almost like you can't anymore. There are so many issues going on right now and its not "polite" to SPEAK UP on most of these topics. Like our Border problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! War! Abortion! Health Care! If memory serves me, I believe there was a thread on here about the woman who CAME OVER TO THE USA (our country) and didn’t like the American Flag that she was so pleasantly greeted by everyday..... the AMERICAN FLAG that so many people have served before and died for...... the AMERICAN FLAG.... the reason why she was able to come to this country in the first place!!!!!!!!!!! Oh do I ever wish this wasn't a family site right now!! When we do speak up, it almost always comes down to being a raciest. Like if someone decided to mention how amazing this country would be if we had the b**ls (don't know if that’s allowed) to have had a REAL border set up 30 years ago to stop all illegal immigrants from entering this country. Ya know, its not too late. On that note, anyone who came to this country legally or illegally and bi**hed about how it was unfair that they should learn the AMERICAN language. ENGLISH!!! Or how it is unfair that they should have to get real jobs and pay for there OWN **** health care. Hey jack , your in this country illegally and for some reason, your allowed to stay. How is that unfair? Am I the only one who looks at our prison system or gangs in this country and recognizes that 85% of the........... well, I guess I can't say what we ALL want to say because, well someone would take that as being a raciest. You want to talk about unfair. How unfair is it that myself and other AMERICANS (guess anyone can be called an AMERICAN) cant even say what they want anymore in what is suppose to be a free country. I will end on that note because I'm not allowed to say how I really feel in the country that is suppose to have something called FREEDOM OF SPEECH!

Thanks for the post!!! Christians are quickly becoming pushed into the closet. I am not affraid to speak my mind on issues like homosexuality and abortion. The sad part is when I speak my mind Im either gay bashing or hurting some womens rights to murder her child. Abortion is being used as birth control!!! They are teaching elementary school kids that its normal for little timmy to have 2 daddies or 2 mommies. I chose to keep my kids out and homeschool them. At least in there school the 10 Commandments are still hanging and if they misbehave a whooping is given.
I could go on and on but I am at work and I will wind up getting mad and probibly get loud.

 

Thanks for the comments guys. Keep them coming and spread the word. Start revolts, arrange and attend tea parties etc. Bottom line is to do something, anything, to stop the madness that is descending on America from your leaders and various self serving organizations.

The way the mainstream is in the tank for the "Messiah" no matter what he does is as blind as their hatred for former President Bush who could do nothing right in their eyes. Not directed toward you Mad... just a point here. It's pretty bad a Thread that says, " DTR Pool Deck," has almost 6 times more views, been looked at 1459 times, has 187 post compared to a Thread that says, "God Bless America," that only has 248 views and a measily 13 post and the Threads were started a day apart. I realize this is not a political forum, but it is in the Other Section.
