Don't even try to explain. ???

Most of them don't understand and those that do won't have to have it explained to them. I've been looking for 4 years now and still haven't found one that understands. :-[ [undecided]

DB

Re:Girls
After two years of driving/thrashing/beating her Honda Accord up a jeep trail to our place in Nevada, I managed to convince my wife to buy a 4x4 vehicle. We drove a lot of hardware before making a choice -- I steered her away from the cross-overs like the RAV and the CRT -- and she finally settled on a Toyota Tacoma with a V-6 and the off-road package. Good choice, good little truck.
Even better for me because she's fallen in love with the thing, and with pickup trucks in general. Wonders why she ever had a car, especially since we've had so much snow this winter. So every time I order something from Wildcat or somewhere for the CTD, she says, "That's nice, dear. Will it make your truck louder?"
Talk about a second honeymoon.

My wife and I are on the warpath at each other, because I wanna sell my drag race Cuda and she tells me I shouldn't! Built the car from a $500 pile into a pretty good wheelstander long before she and the stepdaughter and now a family takes more dollars than any weekend toy ever could! Boy am I whining!!! Tony

DarrellB - look until you find a beautiful woman who has owned various musclecars. My wife has owned a Corvette, TransAm, BMW 318i, a couple of convertibles and, when I met her, a hot-rodded Camaro. Bought the truck for her to drive because it was red and looked like her old Peterbilt. Now she drives the Jaguar and I drive the truck.

She is balking at more power for the truck because the trans is going to cost a bundle to do right. She did agree to let me buy a 1953 R-112 International pickup in great shape for us to tool around in (eventually). Too many projects, not enough money to go around......and the living room needs new furniture
That may be my out for some more BOMBs....

Of course, diamonds work wonders if you can afford to BOMB and still buy them shiny things.

Re:Girls
Repeat after me.... "Yes dear, you are absolutely correct. I should have checked with you first."
Good.
Remember, it is always easier to apologize than ask for permission. ;D

Re:Girls
I got lucky with my wife. She is hot, and she doesn't mind when we spend money on the trucks and trailers. In my mind, I can never have too many trailers. I have seven right now, and as long as I can convince her they are all needed for our horse business or our car business she doesn't mind. And the trucks are about same thing, she really likes pulling up to the shows with the nicest truck and trailer, so I pretty much have the green light to spend as much on the rigs as I want 8) 8) 8)
