Garage Question

Im thinking about getting a hyd jack and stands.
What would be a jack that would work for our trucks?
and other vehicles?
Im thinking something along 3 ton size or would that be overkill?
Thanks.

I say the bigger the better...3 ton jack and 6 ton stands at a minimum.

I agree with the good Dr.

I have a 4 ton jack and a plethora of 4-12 ton jack stands.

I have a 3 1/2 ton that works fairly well... I wouldnt go smaller than 3 ton.... I have an old 2 ton that doesnt do anything at all with the truck..... definately go with 6 ton stands.
