Fishing for dog fish

This is from an email I just received. Very unusual for this area.

]Wow!! So much for swimming in OceanShores on the north side of Gray's Harbor... just southwest of

OCEAN SHORES ,WASHINGTON
While the ocean vessel 'Dawn Raider' was commercial fishing for dogfish, this Great White Shark was hooked in the mouth. It only resisted slightly for 15 minutes before it came up alongside the boat to have a look; just long enough for one of the crew members to slip a rope a round it's tail !!! 'And that's when the fun began.
Shark took off towing the 42 foot fishing boat backwards through the water at an estimated 7 knots. Just like in JAWS, the boat was taking on water over the stern and the crew watched in horror as the shark would actually jump completely out of the water at times. This went on for an hour before the shark finally drowned. [/font]
She weighed in at 1035 LBS. It is suspected she followed a weak El Nino current into local Washington waters in search of food. Although mid 60 degree water is considered ideal for these sharks, the larger ones can tolerate water in the low 50s.

Wow?! Dogfish Head makes an awesome 90 minute IPA and a great Punkin Ale...I'm in California and can't get it out here so I have my sister ship it to me from the East Coast.

Oh boy, no thanks... I'm not the type to say "oh, name sounds horrible must be horrible beer", but that stuff did taste horrible with the worst after taste.

You don't have a Kroger's, HEB, or Specs liquor around there?

They don't distribute to California.

Well every brewer does make some not as pleasant beers, perhaps that's what you got, or maybe just a bad batch.

This years Sierra Nevada Celebration isn't a good batch and it could be described as lousy where as last years was really good.

(Please forgive my derailing)

Yes, sorry for the hijack.

But their 60 min IPA and 90 min IPA are both too harsh and hoppy (I guess that's what you'd call it). IMO.

I'm glad you like it though, you've got a tough pallet.

Well that explains EVERYTHING!!!

You see I'm what they call a hophead...The more hoppiness the more happiness. Really, my wife calls me a hop ***** <Can I use that word?>

My wife loves Stouts, so she's got a bit of a bitter tongue, when she gags and complains of bitterness and too flowery I know it'll be perfect for me.

(Again, apologies)

I am not surprised a friend and I where just talking about this and a 42 foot fishing boat should have been able to pull against this shark.
