First big loss today
Got a call yesterday morning at 6:00 from my ex girlfriends dad, telling me she had been in a bad wreck. We had dated for 2 years and broke up last thanksgiving, but had stayed good friends. Went up to the hospital a few hours away and spent all day there. She was on a ventilator and unresponsive to anything. After several tests, they determined she had no brain activity, but wanted to do one more today. Following that test they pronounced her and moved on to organ harvesting. RIP Lindsey Nicole Lear , 9/7/1988-4/15/2010.
Im posting this for prayers for her family as they are taking it very hard, obviously, but also for a lesson. Ya see, her phone was found in her lap, having just sent a text at the exact time the witness called in the wreck. Please do not text and drive. In fact, leave your phone in your pocket, no message is worth your life. God bless, Randy.

You and her family have my condolences as well. It's never easy at any age but the young ones are just that much harder to lose.
Another vote for no texting while driving.

Prayers, and God's Love for her family-
Comfort for you and good memories of great people! kindly make this a caring, reflective practice THEN smile for her memory of the positive influences!!!
Thank you for being one of the good guys, Randy. Heaven has your place- let's just let it get a little dusty first....
