Firefox browser security problem
You probably already know but because of Firefox's popularity its finally getting hit by the bad guys just like Apple is starting to get its hackers. I like Firefox and some of the other low impact (processor intensive) programs but we need to start being a little more careful. http://blogs.zdnet.com/security/?p=3749
Unfortunately the black hats are always looking for ways to take advantage of a security flaw. The best advice I can give is to stay current on security patches to both the OS and applications (such as Firefox), run a quality active anti-virus/malware protection program, and run a hardware firewall between your computer and the internet. Finally - Be cautious of what you open in email or other stuff such as IM. Many infections are the result of an action a user took because they did not look at what they were opening.
You can do a lot more, but if everyone did these few things, it would make it a lot harder for the black hats.
