Just about anywhere in Alaska except Anchorage. Mostly South-Central AK, and more specifically the Mat-Su Valley, all the area around Denali, east to Paxson, and south to Valdez. It is absolutley magnificant up there.
Also where I grew up....Western New York....in the fall.

It's hard to beat the mountains of CO. I like Southern Utah too. Haven't seen much of the Eastern US but I like low humidity so West is where I'll stay.

I thought Lubbock was the armpit of Texas??

Unfortunately I haven't done enough traveling to know where my favorite place in the US is. Of the places I have been I guess I'd have to saw the most awe-inspiring was the Grand Canyon. The most beautiful was probably the southwestern part of Colorado (around Durango and Mancos and that area). There are too many places I haven't been for me to really answer this question.

Have read this thread with interest. After travelling across much of America, I have to say that I could not place my finger on just one place and say "This is it!" There are just too many variables, too many really nice places. Of course the time of year plays a big part in which part is the best. Some places in mid winter or mid summer are not exactly nice.
Bottom line is that there are many truly delightful places in your country. Now, if you could just get rid of a few politicians and lawyers .......

Greenville is along the Western Ky, Parkway about 20 miles east of the Pennyville Parkway and 20 miles west of the William H. Natcher Parkway...

To make things easier, its milemarker 53 on the Western Ky. Parkway south of Central City....confused yet?? I sure am!

Greenville is the most beautiful town I have seen...looks just like a Norman Rockwell Painting in the fall when the leaves are changing...
Perfect for my photography business
