I had never thought of you guys ever getting tornados until I saw something about them in the Milepost.

Score!! Picked up a 1987 Honda Reflex today. It hasn't been run in years but has been in a garage. Only problem is that it was stored with fuel in it but no ethanol. Time to change the oil, drain the tank and see if it runs.

Bark, we had 7 confirmed tornadoes here a few days ago. So far they have been called cold tornadoes or what I call little ones. They can do damage but I doubt they reach F-0 . Its the 100th anniversary since the great tornado hammered my home town here. Regina. Our weather had changed more in the past 5 yrs then ever. So much rain and snow. Our last dump that covered the ground in hail also put another 3/4" of rain on the ground. It came down so fast and heavy it cascaded over the eaves. The hail was bouncing 18" off the roofs.

Luckily my foil hat can be flipped over and quickly becomes a boat.

I have a weather radio around here somewhere and seven weather bands on the CB. First time that thing went off I about soiled. I was traveling through South Dakota and some very bad storms cut loose. Google the town of Manchester. I/we watched the F-4 hit it.

WoW! The internet is kind of neat. I was able to look up the Regina tornado.
Never knew "It remains the deadliest tornado in Canadian history"!

Like I was telling Tallguy, it never occured to me that you guys got tornado's.
Wonder if you blame us for them like the lower 48 always blames Canada for "a huge cold front is moving in from Canada" like you deliberately sent it to us.

Its after midnight here. That Honda Reflex I got started on the second kick after the new fuel and oil.
Runs great, beautiful midnight sun riding on the beach (748 original miles on the odometer).
I now have the chain soaking in some fuel oil and am cleaning and lubing everything else that hasn't been done in the last 20 years.

I love this stuff and feel like I am 30 again. If it wasn't for the mosquitoes I would feel like I was in heaven.

How do you tell the difference between the Honda and the mosquitoes? They're both about the same size!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Predicting the future can be very hard, mostly because it hasn’t happened yet.

Coffee's ready.

Morning gang - - interesting reading about the weather. I likewise do not think ab out tornadoes in Canada. Don't ask me why - - just don't. We are still watching out the window for the 10 - 20" of rain and heavy winds promised. This low pressure doesn't know what to do. Bad thing is the longer it sits out there going nowhere the stronger it gets. We will see.

Hey Scott, grabbed some coffee this morning. Need it. Up half the night with this durn neck and back problem - - boy it hurts. Take another pill and try to make it go away - - uhhh, the pain that is. .......

Have a great one and Scotty, don't pout because I took coffee rather than ph00 - - did fingerprints on the pot and saw your presence - - SO THERE YOU BIG OX. ...............Hey, we still luv ya. ....

We get blamed on a regular basis by some of the folks in ND for the big flood. I can understand trying to blame someone but come on, it was agreed that we open some of the dams gradually as opposed to waiting for everything to overflow and be worse. It still worked out to be much worse then anyone expected from "Mother Nature" So many people displaced on both sides of the border...very sad. Some are still living in trailers.

I dust the prints on the cup I want you to use. That low pressure system is going to rain down on you. Just wait til the high pressure from the ALL Turd Coffee hits the plumbing.

Mother Nature rules. I watched a news program last night about all the stuff landing on the west coast from the Japan quake. Again, people are trying to blame. A shipping container washed up with a Harley inside. The light stuff is showing up...the heavy current driven stuff may not start til October and could go on for over 1.5 yrs...and we are talking about pretty much anything you can imagine. Its not a good situation for the USA or Canadian west coast. Cars, boats, chemicals, buildings, foreign species from Japanese ocean habitats etc etc.

Yeh, yeh - - promises, promises - - that's all we get. (I hope - - whew)

Well, raining all day lightly - - been cloudy now for three days and it ain't gunna go away soon. Very unusual for us - - more like Seattle. Heading out to a wonderful Amish restaurant tonight - - never tasted turkey like they do it - - wow. Good pies too. Big "all you can eat" bar. Pretty nice. Maybe the blonde will buy?? Yeh.

See ya in the morro. Too quiet in here.

Don't normally think of the Amish when you think of good food. Interesting,.

The Honda is slightly harder to kill.

The black light in the bathroom was a stroke of genius.
Applying some fluorescent paint to certain body parts allows a person to.....uh....never mind.
Forget I was even here ok.

Absolutely beutiful here this evening. It wont actually get dark again tonight. The chain for the MC is done soaking so as soon as I get it back on its time for another ride on the beach.

Lumenol works pretty good at enhancing 'things'. Did you hole up the black light to my posts to see them better?
