She is shooting bird shot or glasiers out of that revolver. What's up with the stance? What's up with the holster, the hammer, and shooting from behind your person? I guess I don't watch too many of these types of exhibitions. I would like to see her draw a real gun from an IWB with real rounds and see how she does. That looks weird and very awkward.

Glaziers "Safety Slugs" are copper cups full of #12 shot and mineral oil (or something like that) and they stay intact until entering the target, where they quickly deliver their entire payload of energy. They don't come apart in the air like those "snakecharmer" birdshot loads.

I agree, this kind of shooting is exhibition only, no real world value... but I bet she'd still put a pound of hurt on 99% of the population just because she is very familiar with her weapon.

And Lary- removing Dear Wife's firing pin only means being beaten to death with a loaded gun. It's only my opinion, but there's more honor in letting your wife just shoot you and be done with it.

To the nay say's stand in front of her. I have known about her for some time. She lives not far from my area.
If I remember, she lost her first event at the age of 12 or 13. After that no one has beat her.

 

I agree. Wife is best with the Mossburg 590 12 guage. Would rather get shot than have the paper say "beaten to death because he messed with her shotgun".
