farmall tractor question

I have at home a farmall super c that hasn't run in about a year. i have been trying to get it goin and have been having some trouble. I just rebuilt the starter and the distributor was replaced a few weeks before it got parked, new points and everything, but I don't think I have any spark because I pulled a spark plug, turned it over and couldn't see anything. I went through and checked voltage and I have roughly 5 volts going into the distributor but no voltage coming out. I went through and cleaned the contacts in the cap and the points. Still no voltage coming out of the distributor. Any thoughts? I'm not too big on gassers and I'm not sure what I should do next. Thanks for the help.

make sure your points are grounding. you should have 12v at the points when open and when closed you shouldn't read any voltage it should be going to ground.
