Half of every year I live about fifteen miles north of Top -- I'm here in WV now. It was real purdy this year. That bridge over the New River Gorge is a favorite of mine -- if you turn off past the visitor's center on the north side, you can wind down a thousand feet or more to the river, and then back up the other side -- and there's a parking area and a short hike to one of the sweetest waterfalls/rapids I've ever seen -- and I've been all over the New England, the West, and western Canada. Burke's Garden and Cranberry Glades are in the area, too -- they're great, out-of-the-way places to go. <br><br>Now if I could just find good Chinese food around here, I'd never want to leave. <br><br>GP
