Has anyone had any paint quality issues with certain colors?<br><br>Black seemed to be a problem with ford, painted thin. Silver used to give everyone trouble when it would seemingly just slide off the truck.<br><br>I had ordered black, but after reading a complaint about it being painted thin I was thinking of switching to graphite. They order was to be placed today but called and said to delay sending it till tomorrow while I sort the color issue out.<br><br>Any comments on the graphite vs Black???

 

Well, I 've got the graphite and I love it. Haven't seen any sign of it being too thin (as I've seen here and elsewhere), though I know they didn't spray inside the stakeholes on the bed - I took care of that with Rhino liner. I haven't seen a black '03 Ram yet - but I read someplace that 95% of all paint problems reported back to dealers are with Black paint. Guess it's cause it shows every little thing.

 

I got white (what the he*l else colour do you get in Fla?) No flaws in it. Stake pockets were painted also. Seems like a good paint job but time will tell...<br><br>Paul
