Exclamation Facebook virus warning!!!

There is a virus being circulated via Facebook. If you receive an email from a friend that contains pictures or video and it prompts you to load another program in order to view the media, delete it immediately.

Its been going around for awhile. I picked up on it when I got the email from a "friend" I have not seen in years saying they had wild video of me but a lot of it was spelled wrong.

One of the ladies at work got one of these from being on facebook. I had to pay someone to come in and totally remove everything from her computer and then reinstall it. The next day, while her computer was still down, she was at someone else's computer back on facebook even after my computer tech told her that's where the virus came from. She almost got fired over that. If she wasn't a much needed employee I think she would be looking for a job right now....
Oh, this all happened just this week.

You pay someone to surf Facebook at work?
In my world no one is needed so bad that they can sit on their duff surfing the 'net all the while collecting a pay check.
Just my 2 cents anyhow.

Not that this is the case in this situation but, companies and HR firms are now using Facebook, Myspace and others to research potential employees...

There are times when things get slow at work and there is simply nothing left to do until a customer walks in. Heck, I have spent lots of time at DTR when I am at work.

Without distractions you can get really bored. I agree that when work is slow surfing a little is like taking a nap, you can come back fresh for the next real bit of work.
