F550 Single rear wheel?

I was in Vegas for the day and I saw a white Ford f550 with single rear wheels. This truck had oversize tires, probably 38's with maybe a 6-8 inch lift. I thought I was seeing things so I tried pulling up to the side and I definitely saw the 550 badge on the side as well. Pretty sure I saw powerstroke under that. We were traveling on the freeway in pretty tight traffic so when I got close to him on the side he got on the go pedal and it had a pretty decent semi type sound to it. I am guessing it must be a rebadged f350 or something. I think the vanity plates said mtlman1 or something. Pretty cool looking ride being a Ford and all.

If it sounded like a semi, it wont no powerstroke. May have been a Cummins.
