Even the Catfish are Bigger in Texas
Hey blackjack didn't we have a plan a while back to go visit Mexstan and set up house there? I know you'd be doin the cookin...
With all those great sounding recipes I'd almost put the worm on the hook just to catch em.
Do those recipes work with Florida grouper??

One that big wouldn't be fit to eat, it'd most likely be like trying to eat your dirty work boots. I'm with Hoss, after 3-4 lbs, they get a funky taste and unless you are really hungry or had too many brews,
I wouldn't eat it, but to each his own

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

Y'all are welcome to visit. But setting up house here, weeeelll, for that I hand you over to my social conveyor and you can argue it out with her. But I do have some property about an hour out of town that will hold 50-100 trailers if you want to come down en masse.

Spots these recipes work great on Grouper. Grouper is my fav. ocean fish. Yellow perch and Walleye though they are hard to beat. I'll do the cokking if you do the driving. OK stan were almost on our way.
Goldenears nice sturgeon!
Believe it or not we get about 1 good stureon a year out of the Detroit river. We are usually jigging for walleye and hook one. Its a pain esapesially if it's on a charter. takes half the day to move one off the bottom and then fight it for a hour and lose it. It is cool to get one along side the boat. I will download 400 lb Blue marlin pict from Costa Rica now there is a fish too.
Btw as you probly know the fish in your picture is between 25and 35 years old white sturgeon

Thanks blackjack. Theres lots of big Sturgeon in B.C's Fraser river, they are a protected species now but they are slowly dieing off due to pollution. In the forties they used to catch 800 lbers but those fish are pretty darn rare nowadays.
I'd like to see your Marlin pic. I once caught one in Hawaii... twenty miles off Diamond head, fought him hard for a long time strapped in my seat and dead dog tired... i finally got him up to the boat.... he took one look at us and spit the hook out!
aarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!
