Another month bites the dust and a new one begins this week.
Finding more problems with the house. Looks like the sewage lines under the house will all have to be redone. Who ever the previous owner used to replumb the place didn't know what they were doing. Turds don't roll up hill!
Bad time of the year to try and find a plumber, its construction and repair time. I can't even get the septic tank pump for another week.
Anyway, at least the weather has been nice. Going to start pulling stuff out of storage and moving it into the green thing. That will be $50 a month I won't have to pay anymore.

 

Time just flies. Can't believe May is a goner all ready. Put some late ph00 and coffee on along with a plate of assorted cookies for your desert after Sunday meal.

Scotty - - - be happy. Our Seattle son was 45 when their twins were born. Their 4yo, Ianna, came down with leukemia 4 days later. That was 4 years ago - - - man, how come those kids are catching up to me so fast. Hmmm, or are they?????.

More rain today. Nothing like up in the panhandle - - wow. So many areas flooded right now. Weird watching the cars on TV floating down the rivers. Weatherman predicting a pretty strong hurricane year - - - UHHH, no thanks.

After making the insane decision, some 25 years ago, to install Mahogany 1/2 lap siding on my home, it's again time to go and sand the entire freaking house down, and re stain.


In my early 20's I had the energy. At 51, it's a freaking struggle.


Oh well, last time I'm doing this.
My helper (psychopath wife) decided she wanted to help out. I've had to re-sand everything she's done, as she's not going all the way to the bare surface, but I'll give her kudos for trying.

Hey, come on, boy - - you are still just a young squirt. You can do it. Looks like polishing down the fiver and readying it for another wax job - - like once a year, not 25 years. Plus, you get to wash it many times a year - - don't do that to the house. So, smile, big guy - - you can do it. ………..

Have over 20 hours into,it, and it still requires final sanding, some repair sections, some nailing off, install a new window a month from now when it comes in, staining, and joint caulking.


I figure ill be done by September.
