Yes, there was an outbreak of E-coli in spinach a while back, apparently it is still ongoing in some areas.

That was bad... really bad... and funny as heck in a totally wrong sort of fashion

I thought the E-Coli broke out in Lettuce used at Taco Bell joints? Either way it is practically the same food.

I got a kick out of that though.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the spinach e-coli. Seems it can be anywhere, I just remember the big e-coli for ratburgers or something. If it was from the ratburgers, Wimpy would have been struckdown by that internal disorder.
