dusting the house

Well its Sunday and time to help with housecleaning. Figure i'll do the dusting, go and get the feather duster and it looks like it had been plucked for Thanksgiving. I looked for a good rag but was unable to find one good enough.

Ahhh. The car duster. Tell you what , that thing worked great, thats the only thing I will ever ue for dusting the house. Now I need to get another one for the cars

I dust the garage this way all the time. If the wife would let me I would dust in the house too.

You know, if we think about it, 'dusting' is really a contradiction in terms. To dust would literally mean 'to make something dusty' or 'to apply dust'. We really should be calling it 'UN-dusting' shouldn't we?

And another question is, do you dust (or UN-dust) first then vacuum or vacuum first then un-dust?

I don't vacuum. The air hose serves that purpose too.

GUYS!! havent you learned the trick to this yet??

First time the BOSS asked me to help with housework, I shrank her fav blouse doing laundry, broke a few cups doing dishes and chased her cat around with the vacuum cleaner.... Now I get thanked for offering to help, told its sweet, but that she would feel better doing it herself!!

Maybe name it the hot water pulverizer? Or hot water scolder? Nah water heater works, no reason to try and make her sound all fancy.

I can see scott doing this, a big blow gun attached to a 1 inch air hose. Not only does it take up the dust but the carpet and the furniture that isn't bolted down.

Nope, just a regular 3/8" line and generic blow gun. Just have to partially crimp the air hose when undusting the knick-knack shelf or they all go flying.

Probably the sad part of this story is that this is really the way I undust.
