I'll save you from yourself. Give me your E-bay password so I can bid on a bunch of stuff and not pay. Then they'll boot you off there.

Or send me $100 and I'll box you up another box of junk and she'll think you got more for the money. I could even probably find a couple German nick- nacks to throw in.

Anything in the cake? This sounds like something I'd do when I have too much time on my hands. Glad it was you and not me. Just think how much brewski you could have bought...... you better give your wife a big ol hug when she gets home.

I gotta find a hobby away from the computer....

OK NOW FOR AN UPDATE!!!!!!!

she's been home for a couple hours now, (i'm still here)

she sifted thru the stuff, and i just decided, <edit>(we don't use those abreviations here)? look at the cake....well while i was unwrapping it laura says, hey, looks like theres a coin......HMMMM well get it out of all the plastic, INSIDE the cake was three morgan siver dollars, and one yet undetermined half dollar gold coin, has unusual stampins on it, otherwise looks normal. plus some gold jewelery, sterling silver jewlery, looks like good stuff, not the K-mart stuff, so have some searchin to do, some of the stuff is junk, and theres the books, but while she was goin thru it i heard this is cool more than once. so it wasnt a total loss, and was fun sweatin this deal out

Stand up guy he is, telling all us nobodys what he ended up with from the Chicklets / mystery box. Good for you man. You never know what some of that stuff could be worth (till you decide to sell some of it). Sounds like you didn't come out too bad though.
How about the Job market? Any luck on that front?

nothin on the job yet, but still lookin

coins are in the $15-50 each range for the morgans, still researching the other one, there was a string of 2004 coins from austrailia in the one box too, and there was another coin in there somewhere. there were also some little pails of money, had money themed cards, pens a ball and notepad and fake money in them, but upon further examination one had a $5 in it and another 5 $1 bills, so i got $10 back already
