DTR water cooler and coffee stop Jan 18 - 24
Good morning everybody. Where is everybody?
I waited and waited, but nobody showed up, but then realized that most of you are frozen, so are probably moving veeeeerrry slowly - if you are moving at all.
Today you have good, hot and strong Mexican coffee with goat milk and tacos to wake you up. Somebody else can make the tea and foo-foo. Or if you are upper class, try some phoo-phoo.
No cracks about living in Paradise today 'cuz I am a nice guy and feel for y'all in the frozen north.

Good job Stan. Was gonna start it, but figured I wasn't due yet. I was haveing remorse about letting it go with another oddball name though.... JK.

Ah....The "DTR Water Cooler" is back.
Heat wave today in the DC area......we're all the way up to 31*.
Roads closed all over the DC area today for the concert at the Lincoln Memorial, and most will remain closed through Tuesday for the US Presidential Obamanation @ 1130 Tues morning.
Whadda Goat-Rope!
Bunkering in place until I have to go to work on Wednesday.
Coffee's almost gone (Where's that danged Janitor?), Wifey made enough Scrapple, Eggs, Hash brown 'taters, and toast for all of you.........but I ate ALL of it.........MAN that was GOOD!!!!

Kinda slow start in here today. Looks like everyone was out late at the movies.
Looks like Shovelhead took the end of the coffee and goat milk. Didn't even make a fresh pot.
Temps back down to a respectible 22* this morning. That's definately an improvement from the +50* we've been getting for the last 3-4 days. That warm weather plays havoc with everything. Roads suck, storm drains aren't draining cause they are covered still, rain gutters are pluggged and overflowing, and I may have sprung a leak in my roof. Guess I'll learn more about rooffing sooner than expected.
(as if I needed another project on my list)
Here's a fresh pot. Sorry , but I don't have any goat milk to go with it.

Warmth.
It's been 78*-80* here in San Diego at the beach for a week now. High pressure and humidity in the teens. Cool mornings,then warmth. Ocean's a cold 56* and flat as a pancake until today. One more day of with MLK holiday.

Greetings...I am once again on call for my arm repair as I got bumped last week...long story short the doc and the Day surgery dept learned that someone else overbooked the operating rooms and the doc is REAL upset.
Cooked up a great brunch for the inlaws and clan today. They even said they'd come back.
Everyone have a good wk and pay no attention to the deformed and deforming coffee pots. I figured y'all need a good cleanse. Enjoy. I am outta here.
