Afternnon all. Enjoyed the 75* Christmas I had down here in Texas. Heck it's been 65-75* the whole time I been here, (I could get used to this). Talked to my kids back home, 6-8" of snow today, -5 to +5 with a windchill of -25 tonight. Not Alaska cold, but cold enough for me.

Gearing up for a big Texas throw down for the new year, (LOOOOOTS of beer).

Have a safe and enjoyable new years all,

Tim

Nightshift here. Coffee's on.

Claude, how's that little heater working out? I was wondering about those.

I see shortround and chris popping in for a quick tease, then off they go...
You ALaska guys, quit blowing that crap down here. We get enuff off the lakes.

Scott, don't worry about those Russians. Schwarzkopf taught some of us how to faint around and hit them from behind.

Hey folks, watching the Sun Bowl. Low score so far. Last night I watched the Oregon Ducks beat Oklahoma State in the Holiday bowl. If the Beavers pull it off against Pitt it will be a bowl sweep for Oregon.

Sounds like everybody is freezing but Bob and RLV. Oh yeah, and Hat.

I spent some time yesterday milling some lumber for trim in my downstairs. I bought 50 pieces of green, clear, tight grained doug fir about 5 years ago. It was rough cut into full 2" x 6" 14' long pieces. I have ricked it and restacked it for the past years, now I am milling it for window casing, window and door trim, and eventually wainscoating. I have very little experience with finish work that will not be painted. Its a whole new ball game when you can't fill gaps and every mistake becomes a feature.

I tell you if I wasn't a Beaver fan, I would turn off this game. Third quarter almost gone and the score is 3-0.

Well I better get back to the game. Something exciting like a first down may happen.

How many square feet? That sounds like more than they let on in the adds. Isn't it suppose to be a dollar a day?

Blizzard here. Temp rising, wind increasing. Then the wind dies off, changes direction and sends it all back with colder temps.

Moved my sister in minus 40 weather...a few items never worked again.

Got the big Buddy Heater and the 1200 sq ft indoor kerosene heater on stand by...with the wind we could get...the power lines may go down.

Be safe...see ya next year.
