DTR Skuttlebutt.......20 Jan 08 - 26 Jan 08

Coffees on and I'm awake for no reason other than it's 19 degrees outside. What's that hard, clear, slick stuff?
Sausage, eggs, fried taters, bisquits and gravy coming up.
Coffee'll scald the hairs off a hog, so be careful.

Morning all, 18 degrees out here in NC this morning. Forgot to plug the truck up last night so I'm listening to it high idle away right now as it warms up. Got about 1" of snow which was way less than the 4" to 6" everyone predicted for a little bit, only bad part is instead of that snow it rained and now everything is slick as glass this morning. Well its time to go out and feed the cattle.

Wonderful - - I could find the foo foo this morning - - someone put some weird name on the coffee house last week.

A fine beautiful good mornin to the gang. A little brisk out there this morning - - went down in the 50's last night and only reaching a high of 62 today. Wish those Yankees would quit blowing south. Back in the 70's tomorrow. Yeh, I can come back out of the house tomorrow.

Ok grabbing and gotta run. See ya,

Bob

Talking Good morning!

Looks like everybody is doing well this morning. Chris, I was reading your post about your gloves in the previous breakroom. Just a note, remember that even though the gloves have a liquid barrier, if the exterior is leather it will absorb any fluids it comes in contact with and become contaminated. My personal pet peeve is the use of pens with gloves. Most folks will take that pen, handle it with contaminated gloves, put it in their shirt pocket and contaminate their shirt. Then, after the event is over they remove their gloves and use the same contaminated pen, chew on the cap, etc.............DUH!!!

Slept in late this mornin'... nuthin' else to do and the thermometer says it's below the '0' mark so I ain't about to go outside.

Coffee's a tad *H*O*T* this mornin'! Pretty strong too, even by my standards! Better save some of it for Heidi, Mad. Just a teaspoon will do!

Speakin' of Heidi, glad ya mad it safely to 04's place! Be lookin' forward to your call this week too. Just keep in mind I gotta drag 'mother' around to the Dr's and PT this week while Michael is gone, so if I don't answer, that's why.

Poor 5ver, "only gonna be in the 60's today" What a shame! Least someone made his ph00-ph00!

I'll be back later to check on the coffee... gonna need lots of it today!

chaikwa.

Gonna be sunny and warm here in the land where we never use our block heaters. But I do wish it would snow at least once so Samuel (16 Months Old) Could see it.

Warming up a bit... Getting ready to cook the chicken. Lunch is gonna be around 1330-1400 if anyone is in the area...

Dang it, Claude... now I know why your typin is so bad... That sucks, man. You're a better guy than me for dealing with that...
