Thats some good thinking. Unfortunately, as I discovered years back, even calling a coroner in my area will take 36 hours.

No problem. Its probably got enough cold air in it, you just need to use diesel fuel mixed with gasoline to warm it up.

Thanks!

Scott, this was number 27 for me. You were close.

Rick, yeah I think I had one around 12 months ago...

Just got back from dinner. Had a nice piece of prime rib and a baked tater for dinner tonight.

I put the train under the Christmas tree tonight after I got home from dinner.

That would be one of the few benefits of growing older! I think I'm doing pretty dang good for a guy that's gonna be 50 in March.

Uumm, the only reason I haven’t posted a recent picture is umm is uhh, oh yeah!! My picture is copyrighted! GQ and Esquire wont let me post my picture anyplace without their permission. The only pictures I can let go of are before my Playgirl contract was renewed.

Morning all ...
Whoever cleaned the coffee pot last night .. I wish you would put the toilet brush back in the bathroom, I almost busted my butt tripping on it.

Gonna be a good day ... my boss at work said we had a real good year and have $$$$ that needs to get spent before years end .... I said " Well, you're in luck sir ... I've got 20+ years of experience as a drunken sailor !!"

Y'all keep em straight out there and if you see something or someone that needs an adjustment .... just do it !!

Tis the season, y'know.

Cheers,
PISTOL

Our forecast for ice pellets never happened but it did rain for a solid hour and I have close to 2" of mottled ice on the truck. I get to go out into the 40 mph winds and chip it off so I can get to work.

Happy Birthday Matt.

Looks like our mini spurt of mild weather is ending fast and will soon be seeing temps similar to Marc's. Weird weird weather lately.

Is the 5er ready BobbySpeedoWearingSometimesSoiledInnKeeper?

When I said "it could be worse", I meant that it could be ME.

Morning all.

Today is Thursday, December 9th. 15 days and 15 hours left 'til Christmas!

On this day in 1783 - The first executions at Newgate Prison took place.

1803 - The 12th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was passed by the U.S. Congress. With the amendment Electors were directed to vote for a President and for a Vice-President rather than for two choices for President.

1914 - The Edison Phonograph Works was destroyed by fire.

1940 - During World War II, British troops opened their first major offensive in North Africa.

1941 - China declared war on Japan, Germany and Italy.

1958 - In Indianapolis, IN, Robert H.W. Welch Jr. and 11 other men met to form the anti-Communist John Birch Society.

1960 - Sperry Rand Corporation unveiled a new computer, known as "Univac 1107."

1975 - U.S. President Gerald R. Ford signed a $2.3 billion seasonal loan authorization to prevent New York City from having to default.

1991 - European Community leaders agreed to begin using a single currency in 1999.

1992 - Clair George, former CIA spy chief, was convicted of lying to the U.S. Congress about the Iran-Contra affair. U.S. President George H.W. Bush later pardoned George.

1992 - U.S. troops arrived in Mogadishu, Somalia, to oversee delivery of international food aid, in operation 'Restore Hope'.

1993 - The U.S. Air Force destroyed the first of 500 Minuteman II missile silos that were marked for elimination under an arms control treaty.

1993 - At Princeton University in New Jersey, scientists produced a controlled fusion reaction equivalent to 3 million watts.

1994 - U.S. President Clinton fired Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders after learning that she had told a conference that masturbation should be discussed in school as a part of human sexuality.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Why is it called 'after dark', when it is really after light?

Coffee, tea & ph00 are ready.

Marc - - that is horrible. -45 - - - horrors. The best (or worst) I ever saw was -42 in Minnesota. The stupid thing was I was out in a duck blind. What sane duck is going to fly at -42? What sane person sits in a blind waiting for some duck to fly at -42? UUUUPPPSSSS - - that be me.

Busy busy busy - - company rolled in yesterday. Here we go again - - it's that time of year. Rather nippy here last night also - - down to 39 - - strange.

OK, grabbing a ph00 and out of here - - stay warm - - somehow. Warm this afternoon - - maybe even get some time in the sun - - YEH.

Bob
