Evenin' all!
Semi relaxing day today. Had to keep Mama from trying to do too much.
Making meatballs for dinner tonight. Still trying to perfect that one. Plenty of tasty failures but I haven't quite got it right yet.....

Madson, where is the pink underwear? sand and block walls need a guard tower, yard lights anyone? (AZ sheriff Joe arapiro humor) with all the cricket insurgence, I expected grass.
gosh the football was exciting this week! who is attending or having a Super Bowl party?
I am so happy the Patriots and Cowboys aren't around, I will cheer for anyone. kind of thought that except for five plays= the Pats/Jets game was worse than high school football at a rich kid's school.
we went up to see son for lunch before he had to work, he had got his finger a millimeter close to the only plastic belt around in the factory yesterday. yeesh, good thing they have a super medical staff there. (they can actually do surgery, like an OR. have xray machines and a chiropractor, eye specialist there) high tech plastics make for really bad explosions/injuries. they also make their own special styrofoam there. very high security area. he won't lose his fingertip but you couldn't guess from the view.

Nuther nice day slated for down here with a high of about 71 - - about 4 under normal, but pretty nice. Orchids still blooming in spite of spend much time in the pool bath. Company still here, still busy - - what else can I tell you - - I know, shut up Bob. OK. Gone.

1900 - Mormon Brigham Roberts was denied a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives for his practicing of polygamy.
1913 - All partner interests in 36 Golden Rule Stores were consolidated and incorporated in Utah into one company. The new corporation was the J.C. Penney Company.
1934 - Ferdinand Porsche submitted a design for a people's car, a "Volkswagen," to the new German Reich government.
1945 - Soviet and Polish forces liberated Warsaw during World War II.
1945 - Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg disappeared in Hungary while in Soviet custody. Wallenberg was credited with saving tens of thousands of Jews.
1961 - In his farewell address, U.S. President Eisenhower warned against the rise of "the military-industrial complex."
1966 - A B-52 carrying four H-bombs collided with a refuelling tanker. The bombs were released and eight crewmembers were killed.
1977 - Double murderer Gary Gilmore became the first to be executed in the U.S. in a decade. The firing squad took place at Utah State Prison.
1991 - Coalition airstrikes began against Iraq after negotiations failed to get Iraq to retreat from the country of Kuwait.

Mmmmmmm, edible mistakes. I've got to check with the wife for a recipe we got at a dinner party recently. It was pretty simple, wrap something like Eckerd sausage with bacon, cover with sugar and bake. I'll get all the particulars and share them up with y'all. They're really yummy!
