DTR The Dragon's Lair and Breakroom

Evening Everyone.

Watched the Green Bay game tonight. It was pretty good, and i am glad they beat the falcons!

Changed oil in the wifes car tonight and changed the bulbs in my headlights.

Got the sludge, tea, and ph00 warming for the morning. Dragon has been walked and stoked for the night. And the Janitor has been wheeled back to his closet and put away for the night.

Wooooops!!! Posted in the old break room, thought it was kinda dark...

Evening all,

Blake - steer is hanging - butcher said it looks pretty good. It'll be interesting to see what the beets did to the flavor. Should only be about three weeks till fedex comes a knockin...

BTW Good job on the belt size!! All joking aside buddy, that is remarkable!

Just finished up two solid weeks of training for the new job. Gotta study for the final tomorrow, then take it on monday. Then I do a presentation to the president and one of the senior VP's.

Then I get to go home... River ice damned and filled up my pasture w/ 5' of water and ice sheets, still about 8" below the road but still rising. I thought flooding this past summer was a bummer. Now we have our own freaking Glacier to deal with... Lookin like fence posts, barbless wire and the mother-in-law are waiting for a visit... On the bright side, the wife told me the Bald Eagles are hunting geese and ducks right out side our front door. that should be cool to watch.

Happy days are here again...

I have a few 'sticks' that can move the ice jam for you.

Pole is polished, lights are on, strobe is motion activated now. Black lights are now in the restrooms because the janitor decided this would be a better way to detect overspray.

New triple walled cups with thermal asbestos gloves by the new and improved PHoo00 for all of Ewe.

Also, there is a new sample pack of painted on Speedo colors by the Donuts for FiverSpeedoBobby.

Something is crawling in the walls. Don't mind the blast holes, I was just trying to ventilate the area for who/what is in the wall.

Off to work. Its my Friday. Tomorrow I may be on straight wknds for several days after I see the doc.

Morning. Jeff, sorry for the water woes......again. Guess you need the Coast Guard to swing your way with one of their ice breakers.

Mark, I'd have looked further but there's 6 or 7 different engines listed for a 91 and I didn't know which one you have. It seems to make a big difference. I'm wondering if you could adapt a generic in-line and save some more $$$.

What're you studying for? Urine test? Those can be difficult for people like you, good luck!

Morning .

Today is Sunday, January 16th.

On this day in 1883 - The United States Civil Service Commission was established as the Pendleton Act went into effect.

1919 - The 18th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which prohibited the sale or transportation of alcoholic beverages, was ratified. It was later repealed by the 21st Amendment.

1920 - Prohibition went into effect in the U.S.

1944 - General Dwight D. Eisenhower took command of the Allied invasion force in London.

1985 - "Playboy" magazine announced its 30-year tradition of stapling centerfold models in the bellybutton and elsewhere would come to an immediate end.

1998 - Researchers announce that an altered gene helped to defend against HIV.

1991 - The White House announced the start of Operation Desert Storm. The operation was designed to drive Iraqi forces out of Kuwait.

1997 - Bill Cosby's only son, Ennis, 27, was shot to death while changing a flat tire on a dark road in Los Angeles, CA.

1998 - The first woman to enroll at Virginia Military Institute withdrew from the school.

2002 - In Grundy, VA, student killed three and wounding three others at the Appalachian School of Law.

He was charged in U.S. District Court in Alexandria, VA, with conspiracy to kill U.S. citizens, providing support to terrorist organizations, and engaging in prohibited transactions with the Taliban of Afghanistan.

2002 - The U.N. Security Council unanimously adopted sanctions against Osama bin Laden, his terror network and the remnants of the Taliban. The sanctions required that all nations impose arms embargoes and freeze their finances.

2009 - The iTunes Music Store reached 500 million applications downloaded.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
When you snap your fingers, does the sound occur when your middle finger releases from your thumb, or when your middle finger hits the palm of your hand?

Coffee's on.

Morning, ok, snow is no longer available. Nobody can have any. I want to keep it all. There, offering to give it away seeemed to keep it coming, so maybe that will work to get it to stop awhile. Quality time on the 8N last night, but banks are already approaching the realm of snowthrower necessity.

Scotty, threw a couple chem lights into the coffee pot and the coffee cups to help with the atmosphere. Punched up "Gallows Pole" on the jukebox. Donuts seem to be over staring at the blacklight dragon wearing a tie-died shirt. Just look away when the bathroom door gets opened while the blacklight is on.

Jeff, any dynamite you could sneak from work to bust that dam?

My Friday too and I'm already chompin at the bit to get out of here.

Morming boys,

Gonna install my brand new sharp Quattron 52" in a little bit then move the 46" Sharp Aquos down into the man cave, maybe use it for my gaming computer screen.

Don, sorry to see that you could not even give away that perfectly good snow. I bet your chompin at the bit to get out of there. My time off from that stuff just can not come fast enough.

Ya'll be good, if you can't then at least be good at it.

I'm not really looking yet... I have to go back to SC and get my buddy out of the brig, I'm gonna wait until I get back to spend any money on the car until then. I found some on e-bay for 40 bucks...

Must be nice Tim. When I get the man cave finished this summer, the 42" Sony will probably get bumped up to wards a 52" Might finally get around to adding a sound system too, not that Im not impressed with the little sound bar on the Sony. That thing can really put out. There have been some pretty good concerts on HD Theatre Lately.

Off tomorrow and the next day and the next day, back thursday.

Do you think you REALLY wanna get your buddy out of the brig?

I remember you posting some pics of japan, but didn't see that one in particular in your DTR gallery.
