Mornin' all!
Looks like Pind and I are sharing the same weather....-38* here as well. Supposed to stay that way for a while too. Or according to whose weather report you prefer, drop down to -60*ish for a bit.
The aviation weather show a high coming over from Siberia and hanging out for a week or so..... Yipee!
Gotta keep the coffee pot on I guess....

.....You are one nutty guy - - but neat. Florida??? Well, we are having a cold spell - - it will only reach 68 today - - quite cold. No pool today and I ain't running that heater - - too expensive. About 45 tonight so the orchids get another nite nite in the house. Out to lunch with the gang - - watching fuuutbawl. Heidi - - - come on down. We have foreclosures on the water all over the place for less than 1/2 of what they were 3 years ago. Some nice stuff.
OK, TV - -more games.

spent two fantastic months in alaska last year. would stay anywhere up there. son lives in this state, so here we stay. we'd probably be bored on the beach after an hour, but I keep telling my DH I want to test that theory....

Sup people. Chilled out day here. DH had drill so I watched football and some filler shows (Black Gold and Shipping Wars). Threw in a new batch of mead, a cyser this time. Hoping for a yummy liquid apple pie.
Evening all.
Got home from teaching an all day class today and thought the lights looked a little dim. Refrigerators and anything else with a motor was humming or making other strange noises. Unplugged everything then checked voltage... 52.2 volts.
5 years ago it was just the opposite; 190 volts at the outlets.
So here we sit on generator power, probably for another week long outage.
