No one needs to study the feasibility of what you propose, it's already known that it can be done. What you *MIGHT* get a grant for is coming up with a plan to convince people to DO it.

pot/drug bust up near Rochester had some enterprising soul growing weed on five street corners full of ....um...ah... weeds.

new US Fire Admin guy now. kindler, gentler fire departments. look for more 'combo' departments or five or so paid staff who run the equipment, and volunteers for manpower. in a time when volunteers are scarce. must be part of the 'Yes, we can' speech somewhere......

How are things?

 

Things are alright. Getting kinda tired of being unemployed, I've applied to over 2 dozen jobs and only one has called me for an interview. The money and relocating wasn'teven worth me taking it, kinda sucks but oh well.

 

I hear ya man. I'm keeping my eye out down here. There just isn't anyone hiring.

 

They're hiring here but its very low paying jobs, my unemployment pays more than most of the jobs i've seen posted. I'm still looking in your area of the country,the GF and I decided that we'd both like to live there. Something will come around soon.

Another day in paradise, if 10C and rain is paradise. Working on fuel trucks, more fun than should be allowed, but I get to do it. Mmmmm, nothing like the smell of diesel ( after bathing in it all flippin day).

Got home recently enough to decide that toast and red river cereal would be supper, followed by a hot shower, and some sleep. More fuel trucks tomorrow...

The summer season is winding down, so the work schedule is winding UP, in a big way, pretty soon the panic will be on, then it will be 24/7 til the termination dust hits the deck.

Ohhh!! Glad I checked back one last time. Glad you are alive and well Pind. Gonna be going past you in about a week to rest the rig in CA. When I drive the rig up in late may I might PM you and buy you a burger. If you don’t mind eating with an old fat guy and his beautiful young wife of 32 years who he dreams about even in the same room with her and:::::::. Whew, wife was walking behind me—had to say something. Don’t work too hard and dream of a free burger on me.
