Morning All,

Been pretty busy and not much puter time lately. Short inspectors in the field and Big Brother is coming out for inspections this week, so I have to cover for them.

Josh, Happy Bday...

Its been brutally hot here, unreal...

Wifey had a great time in NYC, and upon returning her, mom and sis, decided that the whole family needs to take a cruise. Ive never been on one and have always wanted to go, so... we got one booked for 2-14-10, (should our country make it that far...) I cant wait. Leave Galveston, stops in Montego Bay, The Grand Cayman Islands and Cozumel, 7 days total.. yeah!

Gotta go to work, yall take it easy now ya hear.

Blake - - if you are not a scuba diver, take lessons before you go and get certified. Then, be sure to dive the south side of Grand Cayman in the shutes. They are spectacular. If you don't feel comfortable going too deep, you can go as far as you wish, then turn around and come back up the shoot. You go down a sandy ravine with coral and fish and greenery on both sides starting at about 20' of water and keep gently moving down the shute until it suddenly ends abruptly at about 100' deep into dark water - - uhhhhh, only 6000 feet deep there. A little scary the first time. Great scenery, coral, fish - - you will love it. One of the premiere dives in the world. The dive that is touted as sooo wonderful right there in the harbor is a DUH. There are some nice staghorn coral beds on the north side but don't get caught on top of one in a swell - - not fun.

Gorgeous, but warm, day here in Florida. Pool is inviting me in which I am sure I will answer that call a little later after I do some catching up. Thanks for the history today, Scott - - soooo nice seeing your sophisticated side. (hmmmm??? now maybe we could find some scissors and do something with that hairdoooo - - uhhh, forget it, Bob) )

Grabbing ph00 and go get busy - - have a gudurn,
Bob

Just as Bob said.. GET CERTIFIED and DIVE CAYMAN. I've dove at many different locations and I have to say Cayman is one of the best. If you do decide to get certified DONT get certified by the cruise line. Learning the do and donts require much more time than a couple of days on a boat.

Be proud of what you have accomplished and all you can try! Many more Bdays to ya! Remember, the best relationship of your life will not be planned...

Hey Fiver, glad to have you enjoying your home instead of catering to guests!

yes Blake, dive, man dive! like being in someone's fish tank! Cozumel is fast currents, so hit Gran Cayman for all to see at your pace. lovely family fun to share! one of those lifetime moments...

thought yesterday was Father's day, spoiled husband. have to do it all again this week...had fun hiking, ice cream, and had friends over for outside games, hanging out in the shade. went indoors and showed them wii. they had a blast at how real the games are.....

same as Claude and Matt, got to get to encouraging my veggies to grow.
been feeding the koi in the pond regularly, funny to see a swarm of orange come at ya when the canoe goes in the water, they know that sound of dinner!!! still hav enot found the bigger ones, they stay at the 13-15 foot level, would love to find the biggest one this year but do not want to harass the fishies... well, off to do something that doesn't aggrevate the poison oak

Hey Claude!
busy bee, you!

Think we all should go for a raft float down the Marquette....ahhhh! tow a fish line too..hehehe

hoed garden now can figure out what is veggie, what is weed. cat does not help by eating leaves off pepper plants- goo dthing I put some in pots up on the deck, she 'leaves' those alone LOL
had her in the canoe as she meowed terrible at being left out, trust over curiousity versus adversion to water. did you know that cats can leap over seven feet horizontally? did not like the unstability of the canoe.....forget flying fish-whoa

dropped off a squirrel to my son today, appearantly she thought he needed some food...

putting gloss coat on hubby's bike, he is waiting for the Dept of Motor vehicles to get back to him for an appointment to the state inspection site for salvage title to be officially registered as a regular title. pay every step of the way, gotta love New York tax on taxes.

gonna do a legal webcast this week, hope I refrain from emotion- it's on domestic violence.

everyone put in a good day's work today!

Afternoon DTR.

Thanks for the tea Hat, went down good.

Had a warm and sunny day here. Got alot of stuff done around here this last week so tonight I can sit and relax. Work went slow again, seems to be the normal thing. Gotta find something to stir up for dinner, might run to the store and see if I can find something good to make.

Afternooner!

Just wrapped up a fire drill and evacuation of prisoners.... Really a piece of cake until you ad the admin "monitoring" your responce. They are typically clueless on how things really work and end up making you do some really stupid things. They must still be giving out labotomies with promotions....

Oh well, 3 hours to quittin' time.

Blake,

I should have added some more advice before on the diving bit. If you have kids that are old enough to dive, get them in the class also. I had the wife and all three kids in the class plus eight of my friends. It was "OUR" class - - no one else in it. We did this 30 years ago and all of us are still diving. My kids still talk about some of our dives "way back" and we can really laugh like my crazee boys grabbing the tail of a sleeping 6' nurse shark and jerking it out of a hole or chasing a huge octopus. Some great times. We have one spot off the coast here about 8 miles out we call heaven - - we come up typically with all of our bug bags full of lobster and as many grouper as we can handle. Three of us go there quite often.

Just do it!!!
