Good start to a new break room I think. If not, things always get bad before they get better.

Weather is staying unseasonably warm so far. We'll get it in spades before too long though.

Something disgusting when you're in a hurry. A pound of whatever ground meat happens to move you, brown it in a saucepan, add a can of browned beans in tomato sauce, heat evenly. then whip 4 eggs in a one cup measure, with just enough milk to bring it to 1 cup even. Stir into the ground w/ beans mixture til cooked, serve with garlic toast.

Doesn't sound like much, but when you're hungry and in a hurry, it gets you through the day.

Sounds real good. I hope you installed a vent flap on the rear of your work coveralls. If I ate that for breakfast I could have fueled an entire fleet of trucks. Or cleared out and fumigated the office.

Morning DTR, 3-4" rain last night with high winds, I kept going to the door to make sure their were not any tornado's touching down. Had the local pd come by the house this morning at 05:50. The wife and 2 daughters were at Mohegan Sun for the Brad Paisley concert and were staying over night, so I figure the worst when I answered the door. The officer says they received a 911 hang up from this address. I said I was in bed and asleep, never touched a phone. They came in and did a complete search then asked dispatch if they had the correct address, they stated my name and residence. Then the officer asked to have them call the number back, it rang once, dispatch stated no answer. I said they have a problem, he stated you have a problem. I called my cell phone form the house phone, it worked perfect. The other officer called my house phone from his cell, once again it worked perfect. I wonder if all the rain and high winds had something to do with it? I will have ma Bell come out Monday to check everything out. kinda disturbing to think about.

Sunny and 60 today, maybe head out on the scooter for one last ride.

Ya'll be good.

Tim, you might have called 911 from your home while PD was there also, just to make sure it worked out going and see what came up on the 911 console. I'd hate to think your number and the one that called into 911 last night may be inverted.

Kind of weird that happens just a short time from the other incident of a few weeks ago. Possibly related in some way?

An update on my previous post;
Last night we had 2 1/4 inches of rain - more than I thought. The night before we had just over 1 inch in 30 minutes. When it rains here, IT RAINS!
So far today is gorgeous with nice temps and about a 30% cloud cover of high puffy white clouds.

Just came back from lunch with friends. As usual I was dressed in shorts. Eat your heart out you chilly DTR members. That also goes for you chilli eating members. (are you the ones that are responsible for blasting the clouds my way? )

Tim, sounds like it's on their end. Probably more affected if somebody else called and they got your ID, and they contacted your number and did not get you. Don't wait all day for bell, get ahold of the dispatch director and make sure they follow up. The phone company usually has a specific individual that works the 911 bugs out with the dispatch. Dispatchs frequently upgrade/expand/etc. They probably know their Bell/911 liaison guy personally. Outages and errors are not uncommon. We actually just lost our regular guy to heart failure last spring. Jim was a great guy.

Starting a new pot to dilute the moonrock in the bottom of the pot.
