Pumpkin pie for breakfast! WOO HOO!

Mornin' DTR!

Barely scraped together enough leftover turkey for a sammich to go in the lunch box. I think I got gyped...... Wife called me about an hour before I got off duty yesterday and said the turkey was done and the little parasite inside her was hungry. There was a plate left for me when I got there...... Oh well. I got 3 birds for free sitting in the freezer... Gotta love the Fred Meyer specials this time of year. I'll make my own turkey...../

Rain is done. Back down to 20* and it's snowing.......

I'll take a second slice of pumpkin on the way out... Great way to start the day!

Yeah Bob, there was a dusting this morning. 18 deg when I left the house. Freezing rain wed night. Not our first snow of the year. My place is the N/E tip of Lake County. Suppose to be getting hit hard with Lake Effect just north of me around Traverse City. Very mild for deer season this year. Thinking about a 2nd TV too. Might wait for Christams deals.

Dang it!! Thanks to Fronty Owner I have dug out my LP’s while digging out X-mass decorations. Now I’m staying up late, listening to records I haven’t listened to in many years. My mind is starting to warp. Oooooogggg----I am the eggman

Does this qualify for a "YOU FAILED"?
I am awake, my world has not changed and neither did I, so guess you never woke up in time.

BTW, good morning folks. For a change we have a slightly cloudy day here in Paradise, but is still very nice. Oops, forgot that Bob and I were no longer going to tell y'all about the nice weather we keep having.

What's an 'LP'? Or a 'record'?

Morning all.

Today is Saturday, November 27th, and there are 27 days & 15 hours 'til Christmas!

On this day in 1779 - The College of Pennsylvania became the University of Pennsylvania. It was the first legally recognized university in America.

1839 - The American Statistical Association was founded in Boston.

1889 - Curtis P. Brady was issued the first permit to drive an automobile through Central Park in New York City.

1901 - The Army War College was established in Washington, DC.

1910 - New York's Pennsylvania Station opened.

1970 - Pope Paul VI, visiting the Philippines, was attacked at the Manila airport by a Bolivian painter disguised as a priest.

1973 - The U.S. Senate voted to confirm Gerald R. Ford as vice president after the resignation of Spiro T. Agnew.

Nothing happened after 1973.

Coffee is on. Ph00 is ready.

1073? Really? Now you are going backwards in history? Tell us again what happened in 1073.
You been drinking your own coffee?

You are in bad shape, man. That's what reminiscing will do for you. I pulled my two huge boxes of the LP's out about two years ago and converted them to digital. Fun going back and listening. My grandkids sort of like many of them - - didn't know we had such "GOOD" music back in the dark ages. Also did my 45rpms at the same time.
