Drought conditions in NC and GA?

I'm just curious since I've not been hearing much about this on the news. Anyone live in these areas? How despirate is it now? I was hearing 50 or so days of water supply left in Durham, NC before Christmas, but have heard nothing since? Anyone with any info?

We are back to a statewide burning ban. As of a couple days ago, it was said at work that Raleigh has a 90 day supply of water. We've been getting some precipitation here in the mountains. We are not currently on water restriction.

You guys should be OK, I have been flushing twice whenever I use the bathrom, just so you will have some fresh water down there

Haha. Thanks a lot. Our water runs from here north into Tenn. tho, so you're sending it to someone else.

It was pretty bad here in Va too but that's long past. The rivers are back to normal and I'm back to leaving the hose running for days just because I can.....

They lifted the water restrictions in my town but we had so many grass fires latley that they have reinstated the burning ban. Last sunday we had around 5 different grass fires and a big one 20 min west of here.

In central NC, Wake county for example, 2nd stage restrictions went into effect this past Friday.

Read the rules here ~ http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/1944073/

$1000 fine for 1st offense.
