I could not live with myself if I didn't begin to wonder where your user name came from.

Or would it be better if it were.....

Evening Eric

Yes Sir, I always was proud of him. I wanted to go in the Navy, like my grandpa, (Dad's Dad). He served in WWII in the Solomon Islands. Dad talked me out of it, and its since became one of my biggest regrets. Dad wanted me to go to school, and never wanted any of his kids to have to end up in a war some where. I can remember my lil bro used to stare at Dads medals all the time and say he was gonna have some of his own one day.

Slade joined the Marines in 2004 and did a 7 month tour in Fallujah and a 8 month tour in Rhamadi and received two commendations for valor and several decorations before being honorable discharged as an E5. Proud of him too.

I got into law enforcement instead. One of my favorite pics is of me and Slade both in uniform and me um, teasing him about rank. Cant post it here but if anyone would want shoot me a pm with an email and Ill send it over.

No doubt. Have We were soldiers and Saving pvt Ryan. Had to 'archive' them so I didn't wear them out. Even converted them to mp4 so I could take them to the rig.

Red Dawn also.

Parts of Generation Kill kinda irritated me though. Although my nephew said it was not all that far from reality. He was all over the place over there, He was an MP, then later made MSG.
