dodge 1500 help

i have an 01 ram 1500 with the 5.2 im replacing spark plugs but i cant get a few of them out because the spark plug collar that they sit in is bent at the bottom and cant get my socket down in there.any ideas?

You can pull the sheilds out. Just grab them with a pair of pliers and pull. I changed the plugs in my 5.9 gas and never put them back in.

i ended up doing that but mine were rusted in there pretty good. Thanks

Some PB blaster will take care of that, spray it a couple of separate times and run it a few times.

Give it a little tap too. Just a few small ones, don't beat on it.
