Are you sure he hit you? Looks more like he went under a semi or something. I'm dying to test out my rear replacement but nobody seems willing to help me.

Yep! The nose dive gets them all the time. Looks to be about $10K damage to the Beemer. Looks like you got off scott free. I can't wait till somebody dives under my 6" channel iron bumper.

Im going to be replacing my rear bumper soon too. That is the exact reason i keep my quick draw, tri-ball hitch installed all the time on my receiver.

Yup, I tend to draw tailgaters unless my drop reciever is in the hitch. Funny how that thing makes people back off.......

On another note, I almost ran over a jogger a couple days ago. It was dark out and I come into an intersection where I will be turning right. I'm rolling up to the line and this nitwit runs right in front of me and gives me the "You better stop!" look. Now if you saw this rolling up on you, wouldn't you hesitate just a little bit????

picture doesnt show that the rad support is pushed back 6", the red and coolers are all now slanted on an angle, the fan shroud is pushed back into the belt/pulley assembly on the front of the motor, the plastic airbox shatter in there and when sitting in the drivers seat you can not see over the buckled hood because its so high. lotta extensive damage to the front of the engine in that car

Yep. That's why I said $10k damage. All those little parts cost big $$$.

That fan shroud probably costs $300-400.

That's why I leave the reciever bar in for the clowns in the rear, and the air horns for the clowns in the front.

A nice 130db TOOT!! would have wiped that PO'ed look off his face and left him with a "full" feeling in his jogging shorts.
And might have taught him to pay attention to traffic.

Where did you get your airhorn at?

Looks like you got off scott free. Were the drivers of the BMW mad?

The Beemer driver shouldn't be mad as HE was apparently the one who ran into the back of the truck.
He better be pleased GetBlown didn't fall out on the ground complaining of neck & back injuries......YET

Say the frame is bent so you can get enough for a steel rear bumper

Reminds me of when I caused *cough* I was in a 5 car pile up in my '82 grand wagoneer. Dodge car and small dodge truck hit me from behind and both were totalled. I hit a car who bounced up and hit another car. I didn't even have a scratch on either fender. That Jeep was great except for the brakes

Hey! Glad you are ok. I'm still sore over my "fender bender". The Dodge Durango that hit me was totalled. So far her insurance has approved over $4500 of damage to my truck at this time. Most of that is just paint and labor .
