Actually deposit money into an ATM?
My wife told me to deposit a check into one today and I looked at her like she was crazy (the way I usually look at her). I thought you could only remove money from an ATM, turns out she was right (just don't let her see that statement).

I been doing that for a year or so, just cause i hate going in the bank and hate the drive through. I m a little anti-social.

Yes, I did know that, the guy who helped me open my bank accounts at Wachovia told me that, he told me he used it all through college. I used to do it, but now have direct deposit, and man, its great

Next you'll tell me that I don't have to carry my 8-track player on my shoulder to listen to music

You can buy stamps and movie tickets at mine.

 

Depositing checks has been an option for yearsssssss. I guess the same would be true for cash. Small businesses do that all the time.

 

ATM's are just a passing fad, they will never amount to anything. Just like CD's.....The 8track is where it is at

 

That's what I was thinking, kinda' like this whole internet thingy. It'll never catch on.

got a fool here in KS that beleives these new fangled gas-buggys will make my horses obsolete, yeah right....................

 

Gee, yup, I use the deposit feature alot. Usually faster than going in the bank. About 20 or so years ago the deposit feature was there. I worked on the communications gear at the ATM's 7/24. The ladies that worked the night shift would deposit cash all the time. Less chance of losing it. We would be working late at night and a lot of ATM action.
