We have combine derbies here in Powell at the Park County fair every year. Fun as all get out. Very entertaining.

A little hard to get going fast enough to get thrown off of one of those.

Man - that's my kind of racing...

I see old (dead) combines laying around all over the place here. For what they are worth (scrap metal only), why not have some fun with them before scrapping them.

I would love to enter a old 715 IH into one of these, my Dad had one, and it was a bucket of bolts, even when fairly new.

I must pose the question - do you know anyone who restores old combines?

Also, old 6600 & 7700 Deere's were a good source of 6.6L diesel engines, some even with turbo's. Think a farmer near home used used one of these to re-power his one-ton Chevy truck with it.
