December snow and bagels

First snow heading here, 3 to 5" expected. Im ready, though, shovel in arms

Dressed fir snow
Dressed fir snow

We shall see if it comes to be.

In the meanwhile, fresh bagels, butter, creamcheese and coffee on the stove.

Amazing how good it feels to be ready to fight the blizzard

The purse and the shoes really don't look that good with your outfit.

Finally got the plow truck fired up and the yard plowed out. I got the plow truck stuck once getting it out of the snow it was parked in. The snow was up to the top of the wheel lugs before I moved it. At least 16 if not 18 inches where in the driveway.

It needed me to top off the radiator, plow fluid res. and swap out the battery for the one that was in my 2wd Ramcharger….it will not need it back till after plow season is over.

Spent 4 hours, or so, shoveling 6 inches of snow. Still have to remove from my box truck, and pathways to storage sheds.

Is snow fun ?

Not sno much

Wow a blue bird day with the sun out. I would guess out of the last 30 days I have seen the sun out like this once, the rest we have gotten some snow.
Almost 25F in the sun as well. Looks like a good day to punch out some outside work.

Another sunny day and warm too! Just under 40F, good day for a tee shirt and flannel long sleeve.

Finished up my ‘95 2500 winter beater with a heater project, so I am mobile again. What I assumed would be a caliper and pad swap, turned into a tie rod end, axle u joint and wheel bearing / hub job too. Took longer than I had hoped, but is driving great now.

A brief moment of peace and harmony, this morning, enjoying the 10*f frozen doggie toes, and a fresh light sprinkling of white stuff on the ground. A few fox footprints sniffed, the stray kitty doing his / her best to avoid.

Coffee finished percolating, bananas and pineapple chunks avail.

Enjoy the day.

In the word "all ", you mean me ?

Oh, okay. Yeah, Christmas was quiet. Me wife and pups went to the park during the day, and had a nice quiet night at home.

Nothing crazy.

No family to speak of, or at, or have to listen to.

Just a nice, quiet night.

Hope you too had a good one.

Just smashed through a couple weeks below -40, chaos as usual. Things that shouldn’t break,do, things that should be smart enough to stay home, don’t...
Keeping modern highway trucks moving in that stuff is an exercise in frustration, just put on your coat of anger and let it keep you warm.
Weather broke into a balmy -30 for Christmas day, now here comes the snow again.
Best time ever.
Christmas was a 24 hour semi quiet period in the middle of it all. Stay warm people.

WOW, look who crawled out of the snowbank. Welcome back. Your low temperatures are scary. That is a huge BRRRRRR!!!! Been there, done that and hope never again to need to bundle up like you do just to go outside. Here we think last nights low temperature of 8 degrees C is torture. I even had to put a sweater on! No central heat or A/C in my house.
