<br>OK great opportunity to tell everyone about my interesting Tuesday...<br><br>Went to down to the salt flats (AKA: Dry Lake bed) with the new dodge truck this afternoon... Got covered in mud! Did some awesome groodies... Had a blast, till our wonderful afternoon came to a screeching halt when the dreaded &quot;Water in Fuel&quot; light came on. <br><br>So after sitting in the truck in the pouring rain; sloshing around in the mud (as it got deeper; and making several &quot;Oh can you come get me&quot; phone calls - low and behold, there was someone we knew also playing in the mud! After having to flash the boys to get their attention - One of the boys said he knew what to do... DIDN'T!!! <br><br>Unfortunately, only made things worse! Drained ALL the fuel out of the Filter :'( <br><br>A rescue was then made by my good friend Zack (he calls himself a Superhero - he TOTALLY is!!!) and pulled my 5000lb truck with his little Chevy to Boulder City. (incidentally - his Chevy is For Sale if any interested, let me know) And off to the 76 station to we went... Then the all too fun task of pumping the filter full of diesel - venting the fuel lines...<br><br>FINALLY - After what should have been a 2 hour MUDD bath - turned into a 4 hour &quot;HELP ME&quot;.... we got Superman - Da Big Dodge truck runnin!<br><br>So to close... I'm gonna go right back out to the mudd tomorrow - and promise to send LOTS of pics of my dirty truck!<br>

 

I wish I had lots of mud to play in.... oh well, maybe someday.... :

 

Yeah. We've got mud here in South East Texas. Come and get some if you want it. We've got all of the nicest, gooiest, stickiest, guaranteed-to-clog-your-tires-up mud you could ever want. ;D

 

Ok well yesterday afternoon proved to be productive in the mud throwing adventure. The water was freeken a foot deep ! It was great! I've got pictures, but need to get them developed first...

 

Provided that you had a healthy lift pump, you could have filled the can by merely loosening the post-filter plug and bump the starter. That runs the lift pump for about 15 sec. Mine usually takes about one or two bumps to fill the can. ;D

 

This should explain the perdicament a bit further: <br><br>My birthday in April... I'm asking for a tool kit for my truck... <br><br>Had nothing but my cell phone and a half pack of Camel lights. <br><br>

 

Ok - so I guess I didn't have enough of a mud fix... Went back out there today. Got some more great pics... And met a friend too - in an awsome Chevy... Got pics of the two trucks. If I had played anymore - you totally wouldn't have been able to tell the difference between the Chevy and my Dodge... <br><br>Dang mud is fun!
