Angry Dang Hackers!!!!!

Some stinkin hackers got into my computer here at work and for some reason it is only affecting one website that I visit (Yes it's a clean site!). Is there any way to get rid of this problem? I can go to the site but as soon as I try to move around the site I get the "You've been hacked by the Dengesiz.com team" screen. Apparently it's some Turkish guys that hate Israel and the USA! The strange thing is that I'm not having any other issues anywhere else.

I think the hackers got the website , not your computer.

Have you reported them to Homeland Security or the FBI?

Hmmm, I didn't even think that they may have gone after the site itself.
No, I have not reported this to anyone.....

Would it be the Cummins Forum? I see the same thing.

Yup but I didn't want to mention the site. I'm just glad it's not my computer! I had to spend a bunch of $$$ on this computer just a few weeks ago for the same thing but it was my computer that got hacked!!!!!!

Here at work we use:

Spybot
AdAware
and my new find, CCleaner (www.CCleaner.com)

They all work good as far as spyware, CCleaner also fixes registry entries ans speeds up the booting of your machine, but I doubt if any work against hackers. You might try them and see if they close any open 'door' to jerks that can't play on their own computers.

It appears to be a server issue as the forums themselves seem unaffected.

There's some bored script kiddies out there as it's not just the CF folks. Another group has apparently hacked the chrysler300forums ~ http://www.chrysler300forums.com/ind...31c90ebdb4e74e

Folks, at a minimum, update your firewall and anti-virus software once a week. Include your computers operating system as well be it Microsoft or Linux. Stay out of the **** sites.

The mess we're seeing there is not your typical spyware/adware. Spybot, AdAware, etc won't do you any good with this kind of mess.

Use a secure firewall and be sure to stealth all unused ports. Be VERY careful who you swap files with if at all, etc.

All too often such occurrences are the result of some IT guy being complacent if not downright slack.

But maybe, the kiddies just don't like Chrysler/Dodge products.
