Well admittedly I forgot who I was formulating that answer for when I included the "wash your hands" part......what I should have said in your case was: Wad of paper, wipe it off...flush...pick nose and rub hands through mustache and beard...end of problem

Here's what I'd do.........Don't Eat Whatever The Heck It Was You Ate Before You Go BackThere......pretty plain and simple I'd say. You didn't stop at one of those gas stations that the sign out front read "Food & Gas" did you????

This whole scenario is just too dang funny for me to pass up a good reply. ***note to self.....when and if said DTR member Chaikwa comes to central Texas, don't let him in the front door!!!*****

This was a highly creative and informative thread. Thank you so much for this enlightening and uplifting information. ............ ....(really funny, too)

RV is beautiful again - - all washed and purdied up. Had a nail in a tire - - right at the corner - - can't patch it, can't plug it. Almost new G614 - - OUCH. Nuther $350 down the hatch over a dumb nail. She is back in bed until Friday. Have a puck acting up, so think I will replace all four and repack bearings while in there. Then it will be ready for the Alaska trip in the spring. Oh boy, get to go harrass the Shrew man. YEH.

OK, supper is on - - see ya,
Bob

Ph00 still looks good so grabbing one.

Would however like to replace the factory injectors....I blame Power Service fuel additive for lasting as long as they have!!!!

You should still have lots of years of service from the truck Shorts.......just treat it right and it'll treat you right......I'm a firm believer in that!
I think so too. It's my baby. I had this truck, let's see, 3yrs and 7mths and only put on a little over 27k.

300k, not bad. Stupid Power Service

Your welcome...for the pics.

As for avoiding what happened - don't press the gas pedal in a coasting situation.

I hope I am not breaking any forum rules by posting this. If I am just delete the link - I am not affiliated with the company that sells these.

We bought 2 of the 49cc red quads for my nieces earlier this summer after looking at things like the battery powered buggies. Unfortuntely one of the nieces broke her leg (in an unrelated incident and under her mother's care) the day we took delivery of the quads. The kids haven't even seen the mini-quads yet. This weekend is the inaugural weekend for kids in mini-quads. It oughta be a hoot. They may be Chinese made and won't last more than a few years but the kids will outgrow them in a few years anyway and there is just no beating the price.

I feel I must warn you about the LEGGo section. Stay out of it! They have some really cool kits these days and they will suck you right in. DH and I shopped for his bro's first baby baby shower at the BabiesRus/ToysRus and we came home with toys.

The girls will love 'em. I can't count all the times I fell off motorized things dad let me ride on at the farm..let's see, dirt bikes, atvs, flatbed trailers, grandpa's jeep, a calf... Wouldn't trade that for the world

ended up blowing off work, met up with bro in law + his gal and rode about 300 miles of PA backroads, hit some shops, good steak dinner, home in the rain didn't even faze us. good times.

some pics of western travel to go with Shorts deforestation, lol.

wolves - they bite you on the cheek or shoulders to let you know you have been accepted into their pack. and it hurts. no joke, they are strong!

Grant's zebras go 0-30mph in .07 seconds. just hold on to the bridging (each side of the pommel) and put your head down so you don't get whiplash.

a zonkey. zebra dad/donkey mom for control. control is not a word a zebra knows...

after reading chaikwa's potty training experiences, I don't think I need any help locating that gift item.....thanks tho!!

WHAT? It's not like I'm going to do something disgusting with it. What kinda pervert do you think I AM??? Oh, BTW, you just want the bottle, right? Not what's in it? Went to a Washington Street store in Newton, (Boston), today and they were sold out of it, so it's around. The guy said, "You ought to try it!". I told him that's what I was TRYING to do! It must be good tho. According to him it sells out as soon as he gets more in. I'll try more this weekend.

Afternoon all.

Went to a great presentation about the 2 Boston FF's that were killed in the Tai Ho Restaurant fire in 2009. The presenter was the Captain of the truck company that was first due but he had swapped shifts with his best buddy that night so he wasn't working. Heard about it when they did an all-hands call back and got there in time to help pull him out. There's some lasting trauma there for him but he did an excellent presentation. All caused by non-cleaning of the fryolator ductwork. Flaming grease was oozing out of the ceiling for the first in Engine company and it is suspected the fire went uncheked in the multiple false ceilings for at least an hour before it was reported by the restaurant workers.

Truck/trailer did good in the city but boy was it ever a tight fit on some of those old cow-path streets! There are a few Bostonians that aren't especially pleased with me at this point!

My sister lived up there for a while......for the life of me I can't figure out why, but she's lived in a lot of major cities.....and I tell ya, those are some angry drivers up there!!

Pulling a trailer through some of those streets is quite tricky, glad you had the chance to tick some of em off!!!!

They're definitely aggressive. You have to be aggressive back or you'll be sitting in stalled traffic for hours on end. We left at 0500 this morning and it took us until 0930 to go 80 miles. And people do this twice a day, EVERY day to get to work. I know they get paid in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, but to me, it just ain't worth it.
