My wife and daughter were getting ready to head into town this morning in my truck. When Mrs. Pistol fired up B.E.R.T., my little girl lets out this satisfied sigh and said "Aaaaahhhh ... I just love the sound of MY truck !!"

Mine likes to roll her eyes when I talk about my truck, really brings a smile to my face.

 

Pistol, Did your place catch any of that softball size hail. It missed mine by 8 miles and was headed your direction. When's the next time you will be in?

Thanks for the kind words fellas. She is quite a kid. She has her mom's twisted sense of humor too ...

The other night she was staying at Gramma's house and she was asked to bring a towel from the dryer to Gramma when she got out of the shower ...
she did and while Gram's was at her most vulnerable condition, Savanna shouts "GRAMMA ... THERES A BIG SPIDER CRAWLIN UP YOUR BACK !!!"

While gramma was squallin' and high-steppin' the Nekkid Old Lady Heebeejeebee dance with nothin but a towel ... my daughter starts laughing and says "GOTCHA GRAMMA !!!"

I'm really surprised she has any hair left . Gotta love 5 year olds.


Mike & Chris, I'm not sure when I will be home again. Trying to sweet talk the XO into cuttin' me loose for about 9 days maybe next month. Jen and the kids want to come over for X-mas and then again for the retirement in March. I'll definately look you both up this trip ... the last one was a cluster .

Britt ... I bet the little one does a number on an ear of corn with all them teeth she's got now !! She's growing fast.

My daughter is 4 and I told her I got a new truck. The first thing she said is "Daddy is it a racing truck?" That definetly made me smile.

 

How do you guys put pics in your posts? I gotta show off mine now. LOL

 

Britt, when I first read this thread and your post, I was at work and the DOD firewall blocked your pic, just now checked back on this thread at teh house and saw it...
Man is she GROWING!!....Wow..... How old is she now? It realy doesnt seem that long ago you posted the baby pictures.....wow....
