Not sure if this is what you want, but this might help-(www.cmdmarine.com). I know the boats we use in the Marines are all cummins or perkins powered, and some of them hit upwards of 65 knots. Good luck with your project!

Don't know.....ain't any work there...My mom and dad own the "Our Hardware" store down there, also mom is a very well know artist from the area and has an awesome galley next to the store (sorry had to plug the family business). We have been there since the 60's, and I can remember the first boat up the river, an used to hitch rides with Glen Schubert (sp) on his mail runs up to Buckskin Billy's place...Him and few other of those characters were my adopted uncles...

The video of NXTI is very very inspiring.

Also, I am hoping to stay away from the 40foot boats. I cant imagine buying parts for two- three CTD engines. ..... 'Well I guess I want to go to twin turbo's So I better put the order in for SIX turbo's .' But maybe $$$ will be better than I am expecting.

I go offshore fishing on a 32' boat with twin 5.9 cummins. The owner had the original gas big blocks replaced right after he bought it. The sound those twin turbos make on spool-up is pretty awesome when you are standing right on the engine room hatches.
