Try the Sancho Panza Double Maduro in their Escudero size (7.2" x 54) which is also box pressed. The prices have gone up $10 a box since the last time I bought them, but at $64 for a box of twenty, its half the price of Rocky Patel's stuff which IMHO is just a name.

Another good maduro is the Casa Magna Colorado Maduro, which is around $5 a stick and is an even better choice .... it was also the 2008 Cigar Aficionado number one cigar for the year.

Yeah, sorry about going off on a tangent, didn't mean to hijack.

The Cuban people deserve a lot better than they have had it since the 60's under Castro, I'm not saying jam our stuff down their throats, just give them a chance to live and earn as free people.

I hope in my lifetime they can ally with us and get out from under that idiot castro family.

I am conservative all the way, but good neighbors are hard to beat. This would definitely be a worthwhile investment in democracy.
It is up to them though, not anyone else.

I'll look for those.

The deal is my guy in town bought about 20 cases of these RP's and they are consistently good all the way around-flavor,burn,color.
I have had some crazy inconsistencies in boxes I had ordered in the past on-line and he usually tosses in a sampler or two when I drop by.

The Cubans I know are successful. The richest person I know is cuban.

I know a handful (actually more and more as time goes on) venezualians that are fleeing their country. They are doing well here and making money and creating jobs, I've worked for a few of them as a sub contractor when things were slow.

The people that stay and look forward to their "Obamabucks" or whatever the government has promised them get what the OP saw when he visited Cuba, absolutely nothing but crap. If they don't want to overthrow the government and pay us back for all the property american citizens owned in Cuba that was stolen then we shouldn't have friendly relations with them either.
